SWH Build is delighted to have been shortlisted as a finalist for the South West LABC Building Excellence Awards 2015! We have been shortlisted in the Best Educational Building category for the work we undertook at Preston Academy ASD Unit. The awards ceremony takes place on 12th June in Plymouth...fingers crossed!

At SWH we take great pride in being a key part of the communities we live and work in. We have a significant programme of charity events which serve to raise funds for worthy causes throughout the region and many of our staff spend their time supporting a range of fantastic organisations across the South West.

SWH Build near completion to works on Bournemouth Premier Inn

After battling the seaside elements through the winter months, SWH is pleased to report that Phase 1 of roof and mansard replacement to the Bournemouth Premier Inn/Hinton Road Car Park is almost complete. The building has benefited from a new mansard construction and clad along with new roof overlay, finished with large uprated rooflights. Phase 2 works to the rear elevation on Hinton Road commenced ahead of schedule in February and consists of extensive repairs to art-deco Faience block work. Works will run until June of this year.

SWH Civils nearing completion of Exeter Airport Access Road

SWH Civils is carrying out the works and has informed local businesses, the Parish Council, and affected residents.

SWH Civils complete Collard Bridge in North Devon

Collard Bridge at Snapper, near Barnstaple, is part of Devon County Council’s latest “legacy” funded projects to replace or repair structures damaged during the storms of 2012/13.

SWH Supports Bicton College's Reach Programme
