SWH Build near completion to works on Bournemouth Premier Inn

After battling the seaside elements through the winter months, SWH is pleased to report that Phase 1 of roof and mansard replacement to the Bournemouth Premier Inn/Hinton Road Car Park is almost complete. The building has benefited from a new mansard construction and clad along with new roof overlay, finished with large uprated rooflights. Phase 2 works to the rear elevation on Hinton Road commenced ahead of schedule in February and consists of extensive repairs to art-deco Faience block work. Works will run until June of this year.

Women in Construction Taster Day
SWH is hosting a taster day for Women in Construction on Friday 24th April 2015.

The event will allow attendees the opportunity to gain an insight into the different trades available at SWH. The day will include a site induction, various site tours and a Q&A session.

SWH Build Complete Broadmeadow Industrial Estate

SWH Build, together with Teignbridge District Council, held an opening ceremony today to mark the completion of a £2.5million project to create employment units at Broadmeadow for new and existing businesses.


The units are aimed at start-ups and people who want to relocate or expand their businesses. This exciting development provides much-needed additional employment space in Teignbridge and will play an important role in attracting new jobs to the area while safeguarding established ones.

In its current guise, our minor works team has been operating since 2013; recently it has been building up a head of steam and we’re looking to take this forward into new areas.
